We are delighted to announce a festival on the theme of the Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes to be held in Verona from 17 February to 27 April on the 400th anniversary of his death.
The festival is organised by the International Institute for Opera and Poetry, sponsored by the University of Verona, and promoted by various institutions, one of which is the Masi Foundation. The programme of events includes lectures, conferences, theatre and film dedicated to the life and works of Cervantes.
At 6pm on Wednesday 27 April at Verona’s Accademia di Agricoltura, Scienze e Lettere a conference on “Wine in the works of Miguel de Cervantes” will be held by Prof. Felice Gambin, lecturer in Spanish Literature at Verona University, with a contribution from Sandro Boscaini, President of Masi Agricola.
Entrance is free-of-charge, space permitting. Masi wines will be available for tasting at its conclusion.
