This year we celebrate the fortieth anniversary of the Masi Prize. 2021 gives us a second year of pandemic, even if, thanks to the sacrifices of many, scientific research and the extraordinary resilience of the social fabric, we begin to see the signs that open to a new beginning. On this anniversary, marked by contingency, the Masi Prize aims to offer a message of renewal and hope: returning to the headquarters that saw it born, in the Parish Church of San Giorgio in Valpolicella, and above all identifying a range of award-winning binomial “vision and courage”. Ability to look beyond the present, imagining new solutions to the problems of humanity, and daring to embark on a path not yet crossed are the characteristics that unite the winners for the Civiltà Veneta, the Civiltà del Vino and the Grosso d’Oro Veneziano.
